I made a late afternoon visit to Cottonwood Pass on the Continental Divide today.
On this page are some of my photos of the scenery. As you can see, plenty of snow exists up there
and it won't be going away until next May or June! ;)
I was the only person up there.
Perfect lighting.
One happy photo of me.
What would a visit be without obtaining
a token photo of the Cottonwood Pass sign?
About one mile east from Cottonwood Pass, there
is a spot where one can see the summit of
Mt. Princeton to the left.
This will definitely be included on my Mt. Princeton daily photo site:
www.MtPrinceton.org.
I drove about one mile west of Cottonwood Pass on the Gunnison County side.
I pulled over to capture this view of the pass.
The standard photo of the mountains
(including Ice Mountain to the right) and the tundra pool. So pretty!
