**Photos Of Turning Autumn Leaves In Colorado - September 24, 2008**
	I spent some time this afternoon along Chaffee County Road 306 ("Cottonwood Pass Road"). The autumn leaves are coming close to their peak viewing time. I was estimate seven days from today being the best time to take in all of these dazzling autumn colors!
	I wandered into the woods and spotted an old structure from the historic settlement era.
	One particular Colorado aspen stands tall and proud in an aspen grove.

	I drove to the parking lot at the Holywater Beaver Ponds. The lighting was perfect for photographing Mt. Yale (alt. 14,198 feet).
	Lots of pretty colors along Chaffee County Road 306.
	I drove into the Collegiate Peaks Campground, where the autumn colors were strong. In that bottom photo, that is campground #23. ;)
