I took a leisurely drive this evening to Cottonwood Pass just to get out of my cabin. It was fairly chilly and I walked down to the pond on the Gunnison County (west) side of the pass. Nobody else was around, except for a couple with Missouri license plates who gleefully were having a snowball fight by the parking lot.

Above is the best photo I took of the pond with the Three Apostles and Ice Mountain in the background. It is such a beautiful place!
