Beautiful Taylor Lake! Officially named the Taylor Park Reservoir, this lake sits west of Cottonwood Pass and the Continental Divide, and is a confluence point for many Rocky Mountains streams. |

It was a very clear and warm day and I finally reached this area being that Cottonwood Pass was opened for traffic just three days earlier on May 24. |

I drove on a turnoff called "Bull Point" and snapped this photo. |

Now I will admit that I am not much a boating or fishing enthusiast, but I know of many Coloradoans who speak fondly of experiences at Taylor Lake. ;) |
